The development of the new community park in Jabavu, Soweto included the provision of entrance definition, boundary fences, a junior and senior children’s play area with custom designed disabled play equipment, a picnic and braai area, a soccer field and a water feature.
Giant snakes and ladders and checkers board games were painted on paved areas where children could play.
Landscape design allowed for undulating grassed berms where children can play and indigenous aloes and succulent planting in feature planting areas.
